    At the age of 44, the businessman Fritz Borges (+1989) founds the "Fritz Borges Metallwarenfabrik" in Harenberg near Hanover. Initially, pipes and shortly afterwards silencers were also manufactured for the commercial vehicle brands Mercedes Benz, Hanomag and Henschel.
